The Gesha varietal was first cupped as a standalone in Panama in 2004 and has won many awards and demanded a high price due to its delicate, floral taste and low yield. This coffee was planted, grown and processed by Wilson Ducuara, who pioneered the planting of exotic varietals on his farm El Jardín in the Tolima district of Colombia.
